We have to prove to the BC Labour Board that enough of us support decertification so they will give us a chance to vote to decertify. If you support this idea then you will need to sign a BC Labour Board Form 33A. We will submit all the forms we gather with our application to the Board. We need to gather Form 33A’s from least 45% of the bargaining unit before we can file our application for decertification.
You can either fill the form our right now, at the bottom of this page or you can print and fill out a paper version and hand it to one of us. We have been connecting paper signers with co-workers who have volunteered to gather these forms.
A few things first. The union will claim that GFS is helping this decertification so it is important that you:
*** DO NOT fill this form out while you are working ***
Get off the work floor and fill it out during a break, or when you are not working.
*** DO NOT USE your GFS email address ***
You must use a personal email address.
*** DO NOT PRINT anything at work ***
Again, the union will say that GFS is helping with this.
Here is the paper Form 33A , Print it, fill it in, sign it, then give it to one of us. DO NOT give it to anyone in management. This is a bit more work and you will have to make sure no one gets your completed form but one of us.
Also, if you know of co-workers that you think want to get this vote, print a few extras and hand it to them.
To fill the Form 33A right now, you might need to click the ENABLE ALL, button, before you click the blue CONTINUE below. After you have filled it out, it will email you a copy and NotMyUnion a copy. We must confirm receipt of this Form. After this is all done you will receive a Final copy. This is the most secure and confidential way as it ensures that neither the union or employer will know if you have signed your Form 33A to support a decertification vote in the near future.
